Olga Stráníková’s work enriches the history of photography with an intimate, distinctly feminine, and deeply instinctive dimension. The intimacy reflected in the title of both the exhibition and this accompanying publication, however, extends beyond the photographs themselves and their effect on the viewer. Those who had the opportunity to know the artist personally understand that the entire process leading to the final image is profoundly intimate.
Published on the occasion of the exhibition at the Municipal Gallery of Litomyšl, this book was issued in a limited edition of 300 numbered and signed copies. The cover material and boards were printed using traditional letterpress techniques.
