TIBOR HUSZÁR: TREE RINGS OF ETERNITY

The unique photographic publication Tree Rings of Eternity captures, in an unrepeatable way, the faithful and the architecture of wooden churches in Slovakia, from Orava to Upper Zemplín and the border with Ukraine. In Slovakia, approximately 50 such wooden structures have been preserved. Tibor Huszár’s photographs are not only a testimony to architecture but also a testimony to human beings in real time and in a specific environment. On October 24, 2007, Tibor Huszár received the prestigious award Photographer of the Year.
